It's just a dream...
Well, first of all... To everyone saying this is kitschy girl trash- YOU ARE SO RIGHT!!! x.x I know many of you think this vintage thing sucks and I often think that too. But I just thought it would fit to this dreamy romantic image.
The pic's story is quite long... We should take a photo from a "bird's perspective" for our art lessons... So I thought about what to do and I found this:
[link] I wanted to make something similar because it was just a great "bird's perspective". In my head plopped kinda vision of a girl sleeping in a carton... And in order to make it more interesting I wanted to add some surreal elements of the girls dream.
I arranged everything (It was certainly my most extravagant shooting it took such a long time to get at least kinda composition with the things dangling on thin threads D: And then the focus... :/) Then I put on the nightgown (Isn't it lovely?!
) and tried to get myself into the carton I found in our basement... And well it looked just crappy. XD So I just laid down like this. That's how ideas can transform.
For editing... I retouched the threads and put this texture on the pic in order to make it look more vintage:
